Cameras
Cameras now run over a network, receiving power via PoE. Available in a variety of resolutions (up to 4K), they are still the eyes of the system but the real power sits with the software platform they are connected to. The higher the resolution, the better your system is able to analyse your footage.

NVR's & Servers
These are the connection points for your cameras, they will either store your footage locally, or direct it to the cloud for storage. On premise systems are run with local software requiring engineers to update, whereas cloud solutions store footage and deploy functionality remotely, allowing for easy updating.

VMS
A number of our partners provide their own Video Management Systems, these allow you to monitor your cameras and also receive event notifications from your system, allowing you to react accordingly. Many also drive the AI analytics of your system, improving your sites efficiency and safety.

CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) is a traditional, hard-wired, analog system that transmits video locally, while video surveillance is a modern, broader term covering IP-based, networked, or wireless systems. Video surveillance (VSS) offers higher resolution, remote monitoring, and analytics, making it more advanced than traditional, limited-scope CCTV.
